Google Play Store Reviews
Relays Google Play reviews of your Android apps into Intercom, and publishes your replies as the developer reply on the review.
Before you start
You need a Google account with access to the app in the Google Play Console. During sign-in Google asks you to allow OmniSaaSy to access your Android publishing account. OmniSaaSy checks it can read the app's reviews before adding it.
Connect
- On the Channels page choose Add Channel, then Google Play.
- Sign in to Google and approve the requested access.
- In Track new app, enter the app's Package name, for example
com.publishername.appname, and choose Track new app.
One property is created for the app. To track another app on the same account, use Track new app on the Google Play card.
What is relayed into Intercom
- New reviews, checked every 30 minutes.
- Reviews not modified in the last two weeks, and ratings with no written comment, are skipped.
- The conversation body is the reviewer's text. Reviewers with no name appear as
Anonymous User. - A note gives the score and the conversation is tagged
Google Play Review. - Use Relay by Review Score to relay only some ratings.
Replying
Your Intercom reply is published as the developer reply on the review. If the review has since been deleted, a note on the conversation says so.
Google Play has no way to remove a published reply, so redacting your reply in Intercom does not change it on Google Play.
Settings
Enable Relay, Allow responses from Fin AI, Relay bot/workflow responses and Relay by Review Score. See Configuring channels.
Connection notes
Google access is refreshed automatically. There is no re-authenticate button for this channel; if the tile shows Connection expired, connect the channel again from Add Channel.
