Google Play Store Reviews

"There was a problem trying to verify your access to this application"

Symptom. You sign in to Google while adding a Google Play channel and OmniSaaSy shows:

There was a problem trying to verify your access to this application; please try again or contact support.

Likely cause. Your Google account belongs to a Google Workspace organisation whose administrators restrict which third-party apps may use the Android Publisher scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/androidpublisher). Google refuses to grant OmniSaaSy that scope until an administrator approves it, so OmniSaaSy cannot read your apps' reviews.

Resolution. Once a sign-in attempt has been refused, OmniSaaSy appears in your organisation's list of apps awaiting review. A Google Workspace administrator then needs to:

  1. Open the Google Admin console.
  2. Go to Security, then Access and data control, then API controls.
  3. Choose Manage app access.
  4. In the Apps pending review card, find OmniSaaSy and approve it.
  5. Try the sign-in again from Add Channel in the portal.

For the full set of options, see Google's own guide to controlling which third-party apps access Google Workspace data.
